Born in San Juan de Colón, Edo. Táchira, Venezuela, 1984. Lives and works in Barcelona, Spain.

Oscar Abraham Pabón has been developing an investigation that aims to structure a study and research platform around architecture and public space from contemporary art.He seeks the sculptural in the everyday making use of geometric qualities in fabrics or other organic materials based on modern aesthetics. He uses any element that can be malleable to later function as a geometric sculpture or an architectural model. Pabón translates his concern for detail on a large scale by developing designs for public spaces through the synchronization of the functional with the ornamental.

Born in San Juan de Colón-Edo. Táchira, 1984; lives and works in Amsterdam, Holland. Architect graduated from the University of Táchira, UNET (2008). Studied at the Contemporary Art Workshop in Caracas from 2006 to 2011 and since 2013 he has been studying at Rijksakacademie van beeldende kunsten, Amsterdam, Holland. He has made several individual exhibitions, among them “X, Y, Z”, Martin van Zomeren Gallery, Amsterdam, Holland; “Projects / Sculptures”, Office # 1, Caracas, Venezuela (2012); “The image of the times”, Alborde, Maracaibo, Venezuela (2011); “From Inheritance to Inheritance”, Office # 1, Caracas, Venezuela (2011); S / t, Kiosko, Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia (2010). Since 2001 he has exhibited in numerous individual exhibitions and carried out artistic residencies in various countries such as Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia and Chile. He has obtained numerous recognitions among them: Third Prize, XIII SuperCable salon, young people with FIA, “Where we all fit”, 2010; Sculpture Award, International Competition, Alameda Sol de Oriente, Calí, Colombia, 2008; Honorable Mention, VII National Salon of Photography Seguros Catatumbo, Edo.
