A selection of the artist’s works from the eighties to the present will be exhibited from February 7 to April 12 in the exhibition “The revolution against conceptualism” at La Casa Encendida.

(…) The exhibition is made up of eight large-format works and has been curated by Christian Domínguez, who has assured Efe that Dokoupil’s “main goodness” is his ability to “execute every idea that comes to mind since freedom of the artist ”.
“Almost all my art is a type of dream,” says Dokoupil, who takes his dream memories to form a postmodern art that is not framed in a defined style but in multiple styles and techniques to give shape to his ideas. Candles, tires, breast milk or soap bubbles are some of the more than 150 techniques used by the Czech artist to develop “his aesthetic technique” because for Dokoupil his artistic style claims that his work “does not make any sense”, he assured in an interview with Efe.
