Pablo Siquier is part of an important generation of artists who emerged after the military dictatorship in Argentina. His early works in the 1980‘s were marked by vibrant colors and dynamic relations between background and object. In 1993, he abandoned the color and his new black and white palette began to shape his personal perceptions of architectural and urban rhythms and signs through different media such as drawing, painting and large scale mural. “Somehow, breaking the harmonious balance, I wanted to express or shed light on a certain strangeness, a certain surprise.”, artist defines. Modular forms are mixed to systematization loss and the resulting abstraction gives us a different view of reality interactions.
