  • Overview
    Óscar Abraham Pabón

Oscar Abraham Pabón (b. 1984, San Juan de Colón, Venezuela; lives and works in Barcelona) is an artist and architect whose practice explores the intersection of sculpture, architecture, and philosophy. Educated in architecture at Universidad del Táchira (UNET), he later joined the Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam and Escuela La Industrial in Barcelona.

Pabón’s work often transforms ordinary and domestic materials—such as bricks, fabrics, or rugs—into geometric forms and sculptural interventions. By shifting contexts, he reimagines these everyday elements as poetic and political statements, questioning the relationships between ornament and functionality, private and public space. His installations and objects have been presented in institutions across Europe and Latin America, including the Mies van der Rohe Pavilion in Barcelona, the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo in Santiago de Chile, and multiple independent platforms. His works form part of prestigious international collections, from Miami to Amsterdam, consolidating his position as a significant voice in contemporary Latin American art.
