    Oscar Abraham Pabón

Born in San Juan de Colón, Edo. Táchira, Venezuela, 1984. Lives and works in Barcelona, Spain. Oscar Abraham Pabón has been developing a research project that aims to structure a platform for study and research into architecture and public space from the perspective of contemporary art. He seeks the sculptural in the everyday by making use of geometric qualities in fabrics or other organic materials based on modern aesthetics. He uses any element that can be malleable to function later as a geometric sculpture or architectural model. Pabón transfers his concern for detail on a large scale by developing designs for public spaces through the synchronisation of the functional with the ornamental.

Graduated in architecture at the Universidad del Táchira, UNET (2008), he studied at the Taller de Arte Contemporáneo in Caracas from 2006 to 2011, at the Rijksakacademie van beeldende kunsten, Amsterdam from 2013 to 2014 and at La Industrial, Escola d'Art - Cerámica in Barcelona, Spain, from 2017 to 2018.
