Citra Sasmita is participating in the 16th edition of the Sharjah Biennial, which opened on February 6, 2025, in the United Arab Emirates. The biennial runs until June 15, 2025, bringing together international artists to explore new perspectives and narratives in global art.
Citra Sasmita presents a new work as part of her Timur Merah project. Her work challenges patriarchal narratives and reinterprets classical elements of Indonesian culture through a contemporary perspective.
