We are pleased to share that Violeta Quispe is participating in the 32nd Pontevedra Art Biennial. The biennial opens today and is held under the theme “Volver a ser humanos. Ante la dor de los demás” (“To Be Human Again. In the Face of the Pain of Others”).
The artist will present her installation “ÑAMPAQ ÑAWI, QHIPAQ ÑAWI (An Eye to the Past, an Eye to the Future, 2025)”, composed of a sculpture and two paintings. Her work explores fear—its roots in trauma and war—and how it connects us to the pain of others, proposing empathy and collective healing as responses.
The biennial, taking place in Pontevedra, Spain, will be open to the public until September 30, 2025. Don’t miss the opportunity to visit.
