Joana Vasconcelos: Art Palma Summer 2024

Baró Galeria is delighted to announce the first solo exhibition in its gallery of Portuguese artist Joana Vasconcelos, opening on June 6 on the occasion of Art Palma Summer 2024. 

The exhibition offers a comprehensive overview of Vasconcelos’ vast body of work and presents recent installations, sculptures, paintings and drawings made in the last 10 years, seeking to highlight the main themes of the artist: the decontextualization of everyday objects, the constant dialogue between public space and domesticity and the conversation around the role of women in society.
