Baró Abu Dhabi

We are thrilled to announce the inauguration of Baró Abu Dhabi, in partnership with O-Contemporary. The new space, located in the heart of the governmental district in Tawi Ar Riwaydah, will count with 8,000 square foot of exhibition areas. As the art world increasingly focuses on Abu Dhabi—highlighted by the forthcoming opening of the Guggenheim later this year and building on the success of the Louvre since its inauguration in 2017— we are proud to play a part in the city’s growing cultural prominence.

Since its first participation in Art Dubai in 2014, Baró has deepened its engagement with the Middle Eastern art scene, participating in local art fairs while fostering meaningful relationships with leading institutions. As the region’s art scene continues to thrive with a growing network of private and public collections, this is a natural step forward for the gallery's expansion.

This new chapter allows us to develop our program by showcasing bold and innovative exhibitions that reflect the vibrant cultural landscape of the Middle East. It also provides a fresh platform for our artists and creates opportunities to promote both established and emerging talent from the region.

The move reinforces Baró’s commitment to innovation and to the global representation of its artists. We are deeply grateful to our artists, collectors, and partners who have supported us on this journey, and we look forward to building even stronger connections in the region.
