Celebrating its fifth year in Mallorca, Baró has established itself as a dynamic platform for contemporary art on the island, having presented nearly 40 exhibitions, site-specific projects, and collaborations since its opening. Coinciding with Art Feast, the gallery is presenting three solo exhibitions: Erwin Olaf, as part of Mallorca PhotoFest; Daniel Arsham; and Pagan Tales: The Golden Moon by Brazilian artist Estevan Davi, who is inaugurating his first solo exhibition on the island with Baró. Davi will be present during the event, ahead of his upcoming participation in the Gwangju Biennale in South Korea.
As part of Art Feast, Baró is pleased to welcome visitors to its space at Carrer Can Sanç 13 on July 23, celebrating its fifth anniversary alongside the wider program. In addition to Baró's exhibitions, Super§tudio will present Sylvia Sanchez Montoya — The Voices in My Head (WIP), a four-hour live performance and listening session in collaboration with Julian Smith, with a sound system by Pimienta.
