mounir fatmi presents "Omokage – Between Two Mirages" in a former barbershop and its owner's adjoining residence in the Hagiwara shopping street, part of Gero Art Discovery 2026. Directed by Fram Kitagawa, the festival brings together artists from Japan and abroad across the forests, hot springs and historic streets of Gero City, exploring the relationship between place, memory and renewal.
