Joana Vasconcelos and Massimo Vitali in I The Traces of Water at Bienal Del Agua

We are pleased to announce that Joana Vasconcelos and Massimo Vitali are on view in The Traces of Water, the main exhibition of the inaugural Bienal Del Agua, in Cascais, Portugal. Vasconcelos presents her work Flood at the Centro de Congressos do Estoril, while Vitali's photography is featured among works by nearly 80 international artists exploring water as a defining challenge of our time.

 

Directed by Consuelo Císcar, with general coordination by Júlio Quaresma and curated by Demetrio Paparoni alongside Margarita Aizpuru and Nilo Casares, the exhibition brings together artists including Marina Abramović, Yoko Ono, William Kentridge, Anish Kapoor, Robert Longo and Thomas Ruff, presented across the Centro de Congressos do Estoril, the Casa das Histórias Paula Rego, the Centro Cultural de Cascais and Nova SBE.
